A quiet island
off a busy port

360° Island sits in the backwaters of Kochi. You reach it only by boat, and the old town is close enough for an afternoon.

The island

Small enough
to walk around barefoot

The island is a coconut grove with a jetty, a garden and one room. You can walk its edge in a few minutes and see water the whole way round.

Herons, cormorants and kingfishers fish along the shore. Country boats and the odd ferry pass in the channel. At night the lights of Kochi show across the water, too far off to hear.

Because there is only one room, the team is small: a host who looks after you and cooks, and a boatman who takes you across when you want to go.
